At West Country Water Park, we offer a diverse range of services and activities to ensure that your fundraising event is a resounding success. Our offerings include our popular Aqua Park, various swimming options (such as night swims, fancy dress swims, and swim challenges), serene paddleboarding excursions, and an array of other aquatic activities designed to cater to various interests and preferences.

Young lives Vs Cancer Swim

West Country Water Park are supporting Young Lives vs Cancer this World Cancer Day.

Join us for a dip or a swim in our clean open water lake on Sunday 4th February between 10am -12pm.

Young Lives vs Cancer is a charity that helps children and  young people (0-25) and their families find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them.

40% of non member ticket sales will go to Young Lives vs Cancer. 100% of member ticket sales will also be donated!

Mighty MS Solstice Swim

COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY

Join us for a breath-taking experience as we celebrate the arrival of the festive season with a mesmerising Winter Solstice Sunrise Swim. We will be donating 40% of ticket sales to The Brightwell; a local charity delivering life-enhancing therapy to anyone affected by a neurological condition such as MS. The Brightwell team will be there on the day selling festive headwear, scrumptious cakes & tickets to their prize draw that will be drawn live on Facebook on the day. The Brightwell rely solely on donations so, your participation in this event will be making a huge difference to the members who access their vital therapies.

Fancy Dress for MS (Open Water Swim)

COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY

We were delighted to have hosted the Fancy Dress for MS (Open Water Swim), which was also our very first fancy dress swim. Libby and her fantastic team at The Brightwell Charity used our outstanding water park facilities to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and vital funding.

The event was a fantastic success.

 

 

RUHX Nightglow Swim April 6th 2023

COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY

We were very happy to have hosted another fundraising event for RUHX! Participants joined their brand new Night Glow event, for a cold water dip in the dark. This was a truly unique and exhilarating experience, set under the rising full moon at West Country Water Park.

  • A unique open water experience with lifeguard support
  • Met a community of like-minded people
  • Did something unforgettable for their local hospital On the night, participants were supported by the West Country Water Park team, who were on hand to guide them through the effects of cold water and to keep them safe in the lake. RUHX was also there to cheer them on as they bravely climbed down the steps into the chilly lake with their fellow dippers, lighting the way with their illuminated float.

They started the Easter weekend with a splash and made extraordinary memories in the name of extra extraordinary care.

The event was a fantastic success. 

Mighty MS Blue Moon Glow Swim- For Brightwell

COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY

COMPLETED! We were thrilled to have hosted our Mighty MS Moonlight Swim this September, where 60% of ticket sales went to The Brightwell, a local charity dedicated to delivering life-changing therapies and vital support to those affected by neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, and Long Covid.

This special fundraising event fell on the Blue Moon, which only comes around once every two or three years, hence the saying “once in a Blue Moon.” It occurred when there were two full moons in the space of one month. In 2018, there were two Blue Moons in one year, a phenomenon that won’t happen again until 2037.

8:00-9:00 pm – Live music at dusk & refreshments were available to purchase to enjoy while enjoying the tranquil tunes next to the lake.

9:00 pm – 11:00 pm – Guests enjoyed swimming under the stars.

Open Minds Active CIC and West Country Water Park bring you the Harvest Moon Glow Swim

We had the pleasure of teaming up with Open Minds Activity CIC to present a spectacular glow swim fundraiser event. In addition to the enchanting swim experience, we also offered live music and an array of delightful activities.

The Harvest Moon earned its name due to its close alignment with the autumn equinox, with its radiant light aiding farmers during their crucial crop harvesting.

Participants arrived at 19:30 for an unforgettable swim under the starlit sky at 20:00. Following the serene swim, our guests were treated to the soul-stirring melodies of a live band, accompanied by a selection of refreshments available for purchase. This event was designed to be non-competitive, welcoming beginners and accessible to everyone, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all.
