Safety First!

At our Aqua Park, safety is our top priority. We want you to enjoy your time on the water with complete peace of mind. That’s why we have a team of well-trained and experienced lifeguards who supervise the park at all times.

Our lifeguards have undergone extensive training to ensure that they’re equipped to deal with any situation that may arise. They’re constantly vigilant, keeping an eye on all areas of the Aqua Park to ensure that everyone is safe and having fun.

All participants are required to wear a life jacket, and must listen to our safety brief to ensure that everyone is protected while on the water.

We’re proud to say that our health and safety standards have been recognised as a benchmark in the industry. We’ve worked hard to develop and maintain our safety protocols, and we’re constantly reviewing and updating them to ensure that we’re providing the safest possible environment for our guests.

So, when you visit our Aqua Park, you can be confident that you’re in good hands. Our lifeguards and safety measures are second to none, and we’re committed to providing a safe and fun experience for everyone.

To skip the queue you must sign a waiver before hand. This can be done before the booking is even completed. This waiver is good for all activities on the park and only needs to be signed once.

Aqua Park FAQ's

Our Aqua Park’s frequently asked questions. If your question isn’t answered below, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

  • Are water activities safe for children?

As with any water sports/leisure activity there is an element of risk involved in taking part, whatever the age of the participant. We minimise the risks by using risk assessments alongside the best equipment and training our lifeguards regularly and to a high level. We brief all customers with our health and safety procedures and rules before anybody begins an activity. We do not tolerate dangerous behaviour and anybody deemed to be putting themselves or others at risk of injury will be asked to exit the water. We do not allow under 6 years to participate in any activity accept paddle boarding.

  • Can I bring my own food and drink?

We don’t allow food and drinks from outside the premises to be consumed on site. Specific dietary requirements that we cannot meet is the only exception. The packages we offer include options for both hot and cold catering and our onsite Café stocks a range of hot/cold food and drink options. Additional catering options can be booked through the packages as an add-on at the check out.

  • Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes. Everyone who uses our lake, or comes into the building is required to sign a waiver. Those under 16 must have their parents or guardians sign their waiver. Permission by phone or email is not sufficient.

  • Can I refund/transfer/move a booking?

Unfortunately, there are no refunds for any payments made. If someone cannot attend the party and their space cannot be replaced by another person there are still no refunds.  You can transfer your booking space to other people if you cannot attend on the day. Whoever participates must fill in a waiver form and follow our terms and conditions. You cannot move a booking to another time or day under any circumstances. The only exception to move/refund a booking is if West Country Water Park cancels your booking.

  • Are Dogs Allowed?

We understand that dogs are beloved members of many families and it can be difficult to leave them behind. However, for the safety and comfort of all of our guests, dogs are not permitted in the water park. This is to ensure that the water remains clean and hygienic for all to enjoy, and to prevent any accidents or incidents that could occur if dogs were present in the water. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you and your family to our water park soon. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our friendly staff.

  • What is the minimum age?

Yes, all jewellery must be removed before you enter the AquaPark. If you have recently had any piercings please bring the appropriate tape to cover them.

  • Can I participate if I am pregnant?

No. While it may be disappointing for pregnant women not to be able to enjoy a day on our AquaPark and the water parks activities, it's essential to prioritize the health and safety of both the mother and the developing fetus. Pregnant women are advised to avoid water parks and other water activities for several reasons:

    1. Risk of infection: Pregnant women have a weakened immune system and are more susceptible to infections.
    2. Physical strain: Pregnancy can put physical strain on the body, and activities such as swimming, sliding, and other water park attractions can further increase the risk of injury or harm to both the mother and the developing fetus.
    3. Increased risk of premature labour: Some high-intensity water activities can cause a sudden increase in blood pressure, triggering premature labour or other complications in pregnancy.
Do come and watch; it won't be long before you are enjoying the AquaPark and other water sports activities with your child.
