Your Visit, Step by Step

  1. Arrive and check in – Fill out your waiver in advance to speed things up, then check in at reception. To ensure a smooth start, arrive at least 35 minutes before your booking.
  2. Get briefed – Next, our team will walk you through safety procedures, track layout, and how to operate the karts.
  3. Suit up – Now it’s time to suit up. We provide overalls and helmets. Bring your own gloves and balaclava if you have them-otherwise, they’re available to purchase in advance or on the day.
  4. Race – Arrive and Drive sessions include two 15-minute races with a 15-minute break between. Allow around 90 minutes total from arrival to finish. Timings can vary.
  5. Finish up – Return your gear to the briefing room and head over to the chill lounge to debrief over a coffee or consider booking our other activities.

Weather and Cancellations

Good news: a bit of rain won’t stop the fun! Our Go Kart track is designed for the great British outdoors, so rain and wind is absolutely no barrier to racing. We’re used to it!
That said, in rare cases we may need to suspend or cancel sessions due to severe weather, technical issues, or safety concerns. If that happens:

Before your session starts, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to rebook at a time that suits you.

During your session, we’ll offer a partial refund or a voucher for a future visit based on the time lost.
We’re not responsible for additional costs such as travel or accommodation resulting from a cancellation, but we’ll always do our best to give you as much notice as possible via our website or directly to you.

Our Karts

We run a fleet of Petrol Biz Kart Evo 2s one of the most trusted rental kart chassis in the UK, built for durability, safety, and genuine fun on track.

Adult Karts are powered by a Honda GX200 200cc engine, capable of reaching up to 40mph. Adjustable pedals and a sliding seat unit mean they fit a wide range of drivers comfortably. Suitable for drivers aged 12 and over, at least 5ft tall.

Cadet Karts are scaled for younger riders aged 9–11, running a Honda GX160 engine with a top speed of around 35mph — fast enough to be seriously exciting, manageable enough to build real confidence behind the wheel. Adjustable colour-coded pedals and a sliding seat unit ensure a proper fit. Minimum height 1.3m.

Safety

Both fleets feature full wrap-around impact protection, a hydraulic braking system, and the de Haardt safety system with remote speed control and engine cut-off. On track, our highly trained and attentive marshals monitor every session from trackside, ready to intervene at a moment’s notice — so whether it’s your first time in a kart or you’re a seasoned regular, you’re in safe hands from the moment you arrive to the moment you’re done.
