Drivers need to be 9 or over and at least 1.3m tall. No licence or experience is needed. Under-16s need an adult watching from the sidelines.

Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes, with long hair tied back. We provide a helmet and overalls. A balaclava and gloves are essential: bring your own or buy them from us.

You get two 15-minute races with a 15-minute break in between. Please arrive 35 minutes early to check in, get kitted up and have your safety briefing.

Yes. Spectators are welcome and don’t need a ticket.

Yes. Groups of 6 to 12 get the track to themselves in a private session, and our Christmas packages start from £45 per person and can be booked online. For 13 to 100 people we run back-to-back sessions: email sales@westcountrywaterpark.co.uk with your date and numbers.

Yes. Parking is free for 4 hours. Staying longer? Pop your reg in at reception and you’re sorted. Parking rules apply to all visitors, including members.

We’re sorry, but we can’t cancel or appeal parking charges for you. Our car park is run by Smart Parking Ltd, a separate company, so please follow the appeal steps set out on the notice itself. There are over 30 signs around the car park showing the parking terms and conditions.

Please read the parking signage carefully on arrival and register at reception if you plan to stay longer than 4 hours.

Yes. Our lakeside café has you covered, from post-swim coffee to pizza, right on the water’s edge, so there’s no need to bring your own food or drink. We’re cashless, so just bring your card or phone.

We love dogs, but the park is a dog-free zone to keep the lake clean for swimmers and everyone safe near the water. Please leave them at home for this visit.

Yes. Lockers are free to use but you will need to bring a padlock. Lockers are for valuables only. Other belongings can be stored in the cubby holes located outside the toilets.

Yes. Booking online in advance is essential to secure our best rates and your place. Walk-ins on the day are subject to availability and are charged at full price (an additional £2 per activity).

Please arrive 20 minutes before your session start time. This allows time for check-in, changing, and a safety briefing.

The exceptions are sauna (15 minutes), go karting (35 minutes) and triathlons (40 minutes).

Email sales@westcountrywaterpark.co.uk with your date, group size and the activities you’re interested in, and we’ll come back with options and group rates, usually within 6 hours (8am to 6pm).

Depending on the severity, your session may be cancelled. If we cancel, we'll email you within the day with three options: a full refund, a free move to another session, or a gift card for the full amount. You have 28 days to choose. Just reply within 28 days with your choice.

Rain doesn’t stop us. Swimming, paddleboarding, the Aqua Park, the floating sauna and go karting all go ahead in the rain, and on the water you’ll be getting wet anyway. If you feel the cold, bring warm layers or hire a wetsuit. We only cancel for storms or unsafe conditions, and we’ll email you if we do.

• 0–6 years: Paddle sports and swimming only. Must be accompanied by an adult at a 1:1 ratio. In paddle sports the child must join the parent on the same board.
• 6–8 years: All activities permitted, provided a responsible adult actively participates alongside them.
• 9–15 years: All activities permitted with an adult watching from the sidelines.
• 16+ years: No age-related restrictions and can participate independently.

Some activities have their own limits: go karting is for ages 9+ and at least 1.3m tall, the Aqua Park is for ages 6+ and at least 1.2m, and the sauna is for ages 16+.

Yes, we are a fully licensed venue (licence SGC/23/1609). However, the following rules apply in addition to standard UK alcohol laws:

• You may not participate in any activities if you have consumed alcohol.
• No refunds will be issued if we suspect you are intoxicated.
• No alcohol or drugs may be brought on site.

Yes, we have male and female changing rooms with toilet facilities on site. They are located near the water's edge so you can get ready quickly before and after your session. Lockers are also available free of charge (bring your own padlock).

Speak to the duty manager at reception before you leave and we'll put it right there and then, usually with a free move to another session or a gift card for the affected session. Please raise it on the day, as we can't look into issues reported for the first time after your visit. If we have to stop your session part-way, or you miss the start because of a delay on our side, you're covered too. Our terms and conditions (sections 24.13 to 24.15) explain how.

We’re cashless, so just bring your card or phone. That goes for reception, our lakeside café and the equipment shop.
