Booking Amendments

Plans change. Here is how amendments to your booking work.

More than 3 days before your session

You can amend your booking yourself, free of charge, through MyTickets: https://ecom.roller.app/westcountrywaterpark/activitiesfullcheckout/en/login

If you would prefer us to amend it for you, we can do so for a £5 admin fee. To proceed we need your booking ID and the exact date and time of the new session you would like.

Within 3 days of your session: late change fee

We are now able to move bookings inside the 3-day window, something we have not previously offered. A late change fee of 50% of the booking value applies. The fee reflects the operational impact of last-minute changes on our schedules and staffing.

Self-service amendments through MyTickets are not available inside this window. To request a late change, email us at hello@westcountrywaterpark.co.uk with your booking ID and the exact date and time of the new session.

Please note:

  • The new session may not be available. If it is not, and we cannot complete the change, there is no refund.
  • The fee applies to the whole booking value, even if only some tickets are being changed.
  • Each amendment is a separate fee. If the booking is moved again, the fee is charged again.

Specialist and private bookings

Late changes are often not possible for jet ski, E-foil, windsports, paddle lessons, private Aqua Park hire, private sauna hire and venue hire because of instructor scheduling, specialist equipment and weather windows. We will do what we can to help, but cannot guarantee an alternative session is available. Where no alternative is available, our standard no-refund policy applies.

Free name transfers

At any time, including within 3 days of your session, you can transfer your booking to another person free of charge. The new person must complete a waiver before the session: https://waiver.roller.app/westcountrywaterpark/

This is the simplest option if you can no longer attend.

When we move or refund without charge

We will move or refund your booking with no fee in two situations:

  • We have to cancel for safety reasons such as lightning or severe weather.
  • An issue caused by us results in a sub-par session or service.

Outside these situations, no refunds are issued under any circumstances.

No — there is no upper weight limit for the AquaPark. Our course and equipment are designed to be accessible for all body types. The key requirement is that you can swim at least 25 metres unaided and are confident in open water.
Yes — Little Oke's sessions use the full-sized AquaPark course. It is a dedicated session for children aged 6–8, giving younger participants the complete AquaPark experience. Adults must actively participate alongside children at a 1:2 ratio (one adult per two children).
  • 45 minutes of your chosen lake activity
  • Table reservation in the cafe for some celebrations
  • You can decorate the table if you like.
  • Unlimited squash
  • You can bring your own cake
  • Food available to purchase from the cafe - no bookable additions.

Booking & Cancellations

Yes — booking online in advance is essential to secure our best rates and your place. Walk-ins on the day are subject to availability and are charged at full price (an additional £2 per activity).
Please arrive 30 minutes before your session start time. This allows time for check-in, changing, and a safety briefing.
We will not allow anyone onto the park once a session has started. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your session is due to begin.
Yes, you can leave early. Please note you cannot return to the AquaPark once you have left.
Send us a message via the form on our Groups page. Full information and group rates can be found there.
Depending on the severity, your session may be cancelled. If we cancel, we will refund your ticket or rebook you onto another convenient session.
You'll have even more fun! You'll almost certainly be getting wet on the Aquapark anyway, so rain won't spoil your session. If you tend to get cold, please hire a wetsuit or bring your own.

Health & Safety

  • 6–8 years: All activities permitted, provided a responsible adult actively participates alongside them.
  • 9–15 years: All activities permitted with an adult watching from the sidelines.
  • 16+ years: No age-related restrictions — can participate independently.
Yes. You must be able to swim at least 25 metres unaided and be confident in open water. It is very likely you will go under the water, and you must swim out to the AquaPark to begin your session.
Yes. Everyone who uses our lake or enters the building must sign a waiver. Those under 16 must have their parent or guardian sign on their behalf. Permission by phone or email is not sufficient.
No. If we suspect you have consumed any alcohol or drugs you will not be permitted to enter the park. However, if you are not participating in activities, you are welcome to purchase an alcoholic drink from our café.

Yes — we are a fully licensed venue (licence SGC/23/1609). However, the following rules apply in addition to standard UK alcohol laws:

  • You may not participate in any activities if you have consumed alcohol.
  • No refunds will be issued if we suspect you are intoxicated.
  • No alcohol or drugs may be brought on site.
It is a physically challenging activity and you will need to pull yourself out of the water. Please seek your doctor's advice if you are uncertain about your fitness level.
No. Pregnant women are advised not to take part in our water activities due to risk of infection, physical strain, and the increased risk of complications. Do come along to watch — it won't be long before you can enjoy the AquaPark with your child!
As with any water sports activity there is an element of risk, whatever the age. We minimise risks through thorough risk assessments, top-quality equipment, and highly trained lifeguards. All customers receive a health and safety briefing before any activity begins. Dangerous behaviour will not be tolerated — anyone deemed to be putting themselves or others at risk will be asked to exit the water.

Kit & Equipment

Yes — we have male and female changing rooms with toilet facilities on site. They are located near the water's edge so you can get ready quickly before and after your session. Lockers are also available free of charge (bring your own padlock).

Yes. You will be provided with a buoyancy aid and we will ensure it fits you correctly.
Yes, goggles are permitted on all our water activities and are especially useful during open water swimming when you may submerge. Swimming goggles are fine — for prescription eyewear, see 'Can I wear my glasses?' above.
It is strongly advised not to wear glasses on the AquaPark. If you choose to wear plastic-framed glasses with plastic lenses, this is entirely at your own risk. Metal frames and/or glass lenses are not permitted. Prescription goggles are a good alternative.
No — boots or shoes of any kind are not permitted on the AquaPark.
Yes. All jewellery must be removed before you enter the AquaPark. If you have recently had any piercings, please bring appropriate tape to cover them.
No — cameras, action cameras (such as GoPros), and phones are not permitted on the inflatable AquaPark course. Loose items become hazards on the course and put other participants at risk. You are welcome to take photos and videos from the water's edge and viewing areas.
For your safety, please wear swimwear only during standard sessions. We do run special fancy-dress sessions — check our website or social media for upcoming events.

Membership

Yes — we offer annual memberships that give you unlimited open water swimming and unlimited paddleboarding (with your own board) throughout the year. Visit our Memberships page for full details and current pricing.
We no longer offer add-on members. Each person who wants to enjoy membership benefits must purchase their own individual membership. Visit our Memberships page for current pricing and options.

Paddle Sports

Yes — we have a wide range of kayaking equipment available for hire, including kayaks and paddles. Only a small deposit is required to secure your kit. Ask at reception for current availability and pricing when you arrive.

Parties & Events

We get very busy, so we recommend booking 2–3 months in advance. However, you may book up to 10 days before the date.
The minimum number of attendees for a party package is 8.
Our packages are suitable for all celebrations. Adult parties offer different catering options — for example, hen parties can choose a Cream Tea and Prosecco option.

RC Boating

We currently do not offer RC boats for hire. To take part in RC boating at the park, you will need to bring your own boat. We do usually sell a range of remote-controlled boats in our on-site shop if you would like to purchase one.
We usually sell a range of remote-controlled boats in our on-site shop.

If your RC boat sinks, we charge a £35/hour retrieval fee. We cannot leave a sunken boat in the water as it poses a safety risk to other users.

Please note: you are not permitted to enter the water to retrieve it yourself unless authorised by the Duty Manager.

Visiting Us

We are located just off the M4 in Bradley Stoke. Search what3words: retail.aside.snow or see the map on our Contact page.
Yes — parking is free for the first 4 hours. If you are staying longer than 4 hours, please register your vehicle at reception. Parking charges apply to all visitors, including members.

Unfortunately, we have absolutely no ability to cancel or appeal parking charges on your behalf — you must follow the dispute process set out on the fine itself. There are over 30 signs around the car park clearly displaying the parking terms and conditions.

Please read the parking signage carefully on arrival and register at reception if you plan to stay longer than 4 hours.

Yes. Our lakeside café serves a variety of food and drinks right on the water's edge. Please do not bring your own food or drink on site.
For the safety and comfort of all guests, dogs are not permitted inside the water park. This keeps the water clean and hygienic and prevents accidents near the water. We appreciate your understanding.
We don't allow food and drinks from outside the premises to be consumed on site. Our lakeside café stocks a range of hot and cold food and drink options, and additional catering can be added to packages at checkout.
Yes. Lockers are free to use but you will need to bring a padlock. Lockers are for valuables only — other belongings can be stored in the cubby holes located outside the toilets.
